Working pre-launch terms for using the BidShop marketplace.
These Terms are a pre-launch working draft for the BidShop platform. Final registered business details, formal notices and any legally required disclosures will be added before commercial launch.
Customers are responsible for maintaining the security of their account credentials. BidShop may require email verification before an account becomes active and may restrict accounts that are pending, banned, compromised or otherwise not permitted to participate.
BidShop supports ordinary Shop purchases as well as auction-based commerce. The rules that apply to a normal Shop line may differ from the rules that apply to an auction win or a protected Buy Now offer.
Displayed browser values are not the final authority for prices, discounts, auction state, delivery charges or totals. BidShop revalidates authoritative data on the server before completing protected actions such as bidding, checkout and order conversion.
Accepted bids are governed by the current Auction & Bidding Rules. Bid funding, auction timing, outcome and winner determination are controlled by the server-side auction system rather than the customer device.
Winner claims and protected Buy Now opportunities may be time-limited. Current certified periods are described in the Auction & Bidding Rules and in the relevant account experience. Expiry is not paused merely because an item was added to a cart.
A cart is not a completed purchase. Product and commercial eligibility can be revalidated during checkout. An order is created only when the server successfully completes the checkout conversion.
The current production payment method is manual EFT. An order is not treated as paid merely because a payment attempt was started or proof was uploaded. Payment approval is a separate state recorded by BidShop.
Delivery details selected at checkout are recorded with the order. Operational shipment status and tracking are recorded separately during fulfilment. Delivery estimates, carrier availability and final return procedures will be governed by the published Delivery & Returns information at launch.
Final return, cancellation and refund terms are still being formalised. Nothing in this working draft is intended to remove rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Users may not attempt to manipulate prices, auction state, payment state, ownership identifiers, account balances, delivery values or other protected server-side state through altered requests or unauthorised access.
Because BidShop remains in pre-launch development, features and these working terms may change before commercial launch. The final published terms will state their effective date and formal business identity.
