How delivery details, fulfilment, tracking and return policy fit together.
During checkout, customers select an available delivery method and provide or reuse a delivery address. BidShop stores a snapshot of the selected delivery details with the order so the historical destination remains unchanged even if a saved address is edited later.
The delivery charge is calculated from BidShop's server-side configuration. Browser-submitted delivery prices are not authoritative. The final delivery amount is recorded on the order at placement.
Checkout delivery details and operational shipment information are separate. Once fulfilment begins, the order may show shipment status, actual fulfilment method, tracking number, shipped time and delivered time where available.
BidShop's final commercial return windows, exclusions, collection arrangements and refund timelines are still being formalised for launch. Where a return, refund or cancellation is permitted, the applicable process will depend on the order state, payment state, product circumstances and any legal rights that apply.
